About This Book:

Hello friends,

You are very welcome on the Summaries World. We have brought for you a project that we are excited to do. But we know that you too are desperate to hear it.

Yes, this is the Srimad Bhagavad-gītā. But before we start this, there are some things that we consider important to share with you.

It is known to all of us that God i.e. God is the same, but because of not recognizing him or not knowing it, we do not believe it. There are many reasons for not knowing God. The first of which is that it is not visible. Think when the soul cannot be seen with the eyes, then how can we see the supreme soul.

Supreme means Supreme - Ala or Allah. Nobody is higher than them.
He is an author and everything else is his creation.

Just as a soul has to take a human body to say its own thing and we are called humans or human beings, in the same way, say science or spiritual science. The supreme soul also has to take the base of the human body.
  1. Spirituality means soul - the study of this world drama wheel.
  2. Religion means the rules that were made for humans.
There are about 12 main religions in the world and all of them have said the same thing for the nature of God. That is why God is also called omniscient.

Just like God is a Noor and there is only one, the first messenger who introduced the man to this principle was Hazrat Ibrahim. Hazrat Ibrahim is said to be the main founder of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. In all three religions, God has been called Light ie Noor, Light form. Hazrat Moses i.e. Moses / Light was also interviewed and he gave 10 commandments as a principle for the human community.

The founder of Zoroastrianism i.e. Zoroastrianism, Juruastra also experienced God in fire, light and form. Jesus Christie Hazrat Isa also spoke of the attributes of that one divine being called God is Light and Christ's teachings were scripted and stored in the Bible by his disciples.

Hazrat Mohammad Prophet Sahib handed over the holy book Quran to the followers of Islam, based on the teachings received by Hazrat Ibrahim, Hazrat Musa, and interviews with the Supreme God. For any person living on the earth, that is, of human beings, who do not have the courage to tamper with this book, containing the higher teachings, it was given the responsibility of safeguarding it by calling it a book from the house of Allah.

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji has praised one Omkar i.e. one God and then his disciples scripted his words and teachings and kept Guru-Granth Sahib for all the other followers.

Books of Hinduism are divided on the basis of Shruti and Smriti. Shruti means the sacred books listened to are the Vedas and Upanishads. The holy books based on Smriti i.e. interview and remembrance are Puranas and Ramayana and Mahabharata epics. The most read and followed book by the general public is Ramayana. After this, Gita - Gyan is the most heard and read.

During the war of Mahabharata, the precious knowledge given about the religion of the soul i.e. spirituality is called Gita. Which was later scripted and presented as Srimad Bhagavad Purana.

According to the ancient knowledge described in the Srimad Bhagavad Purana, the formless Shiva God gave the divine true knowledge of the Gita first - first to Brahma. On the basis of this divine knowledge, the creation and ages of creation were created by Brahma Ji, which were divided on the basis of the day of Brahma and the night of Brahma. Satyuga and Treta Yuga are called the days of Brahma and Dwapara and Kaliyuga are called the nights of Brahma. Adi Sanatan Dharma was established on the basis of this knowledge.

The good thing is that there are about 12 main religions in all the above-mentioned religions and the world and in all these, the nature of God is told as the formless/light form / God is Light.

Here the feeling behind sharing all these things is that none of the prophets of religion promoters or message bearers declared themselves to be God. Even in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, it was said through Shri Krishna Ji that God never takes birth. He is formless beyond birth and death, is bodiless. According to the words of the Gita, whoever considers God as a bodily being does not know God.

Arjuna has also been given a clear direction i.e. clear direction to meditate on the divine form by staying in its true form i.e. self-realization.

Then the question arises that when the nature of God is one, their attributes are the same, then how did so many religions become? And why should all live together?

The answer is not to understand your religious texts properly. Yes. This smallmouth may seem like a big deal, but it is true.

This can be understood through this example. Both Gandhiji and Godse used to recite Srimad Bhagavad-gītā every day. Every day he used to read some chapter of Gita.
But one read the Gita and embraced truth, non-violence, and celibacy and fought against the weaknesses within, and the other took the path of violence.

We all know God as much as we ourselves. We recognize the demigods i.e. gods and goddesses, we recognize the deities, we recognize saints and souls. Great souls and human beings recognize souls. But we have not been able to recognize that one supreme soul. Perhaps that's why we have been fighting each other till now in the name of religion. But true knowledge will never be distributed, it will unite everyone. will unite, and that is called spirituality.

There is no doubt that the message of God is that protecting religion protects you, but it is also a matter of realization that God says to protect the soul's spirituality (spirituality). Which are peace and purity. The religion of the body is left only with death, but peace and purity are required by the soul even after leaving the body. And no matter who is born in any religion, everyone seeks peace and peace.

However, we all know that many scholars have commented on Srimad Bhagavad Gita in their own way. They have also removed their own versions. We have no such intention here. We all also know that in the last period of history, Indian books and religious texts have been destroyed many times, so it is not possible to get a complete truth. But whatever truth we get from it, we sincerely thank the Gita, who is called Shiromani, and all those who preserve its form, for this.

Our aim is to make the best ideas available to the gigglers. It is said that the father of the Sanskrit language is Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Those whose birth is said to be of the 17th century. Therefore, we understand that the knowledge of the Gita must have been spoken in the Dev-Nagari which the people of that time used to speak and explain. We have not even tried to tie this precious knowledge of Gita into languages with the same purpose. We chose a simple language style so that all Hindi speaking belt gigglers could understand it easily.
Yes, one more thing - if we really want the knowledge of the song to be understood by us, then we should consider listening to these chapters considering ourselves Arjuna, that is, a soul who is acquiring knowledge.
  • Kurukshetra means Karma Kshetra
  • Crusade means the war of good and evil within us
  • Yoga means the way to meet the divine soul
Have you heard about the war in Kurukshetra? It is said that in that war fought for the establishment of religion, so many people lost their lives that the soil there had become red with blood. Do you know what Shri Krishna said to Prince Arjuna when he was surrounded by sorrow and fascination thinking about the destruction caused by the war? After all, why was that war fought, what was its purpose?

"Bhagavad Geeta" means the song sung by God. It is not so easy to understand the depth of this holy book. Many learned people say that even though this war was fought on the land of Kurukshetra with weapons, but the purpose of the message given in this is to convince us that our mind is also a battlefield like Kurukshetra where greed, fascination, anger, lust etc. Kauravas. Like 100 demerits, which we have to overcome by defeating our five senses, which are the symbols of the five Pandavas, only then we can live a happy life and get liberation.

Shri Krishna is a symbol of our mind's voice or soul or consciousness, who helps us by answering questions at the time of dilemma. Every human is a symbol of Arjuna, who is surrounded by a dilemma.

Srimad Bhagavad Gita does not preach but teaches man the right way to live life. The knowledge of this nectar is not limited to any one religion. In this, Shri Krishna has told many precious things for the whole creation, if we are introduced in our life, then we can avoid countless problems.

In this holy book, you will learn about the mysteries of the universe, about which questions often arise in our mind. During the Kurukshetra war, Lord Krishna has given answers to many unresolved questions related to life.
Through this book, you will start to see spirituality from a different perspective.

The things mentioned in it still fit perfectly because the human mind is still struggling with the same disorders and dilemmas as it was battling thousands of years ago and the reason is ignorance. The things mentioned in it ignite ignorance and light a lamp of knowledge in the mind, so that a person begins to understand everything clearly and his restless mind becomes calm. You can examine these things in every aspect of your life. If seen, life's journey is like a sea, in which we have to reach from one shore to another, storms and waves are the challenges that we have to face during this journey and this holy book, which is from time and time cycle Beyond is the boat that shows us the right path, prevents us from sinking into despair and darkness.

BHAGWAD GEETA - Chapter 1 - Book Summary

Chapter 1: Nostalgia Yoga

The forces were standing ready on both sides in the field of Kurukshetra, due to the tension there was a strange heaviness in the air. On one side were five Pandava brothers, whose army included many knights. On the other hand, there were hundred Kaurava brothers whose army was adorned with many maharishis and the Narayani army of Shri Krishna increased their strength even more. Dwarkadhish Srikrishna swore that he would not take up arms in this war, so he asked Arjuna and Duryodhana to elect one of them and his Narayani army. Arjuna chose Shri Krishna. Because Arjuna was his supreme friend, Shri Krishna became his charioteer to guide him.

It was time for the war to begin, Pandu's son Arjun's eyes went towards the standing army. There he saw his brother, his children, Gurujan and Bhishma Pitamah. This war was not like a normal war where two kings were fighting for their supremacy or kingdom. This war, known as the Dharma war, is the story of a struggle between people of the same family, who were born of greed and arrogance.

Both sides were watching their enemy carefully, they were seen everywhere. He was a cousin to say, but in the greed of power, the eyes of the Kauravas were covered.

Dhritarashtra and Pandu were two brothers. Dhritarashtra had a hundred sons, of which Duryodhana was the eldest. It was filled with arrogance and greed. It is said that he was so wicked and unrighteous that at the time of his birth, nature too became depressed. Pandu had five sons, the Pandavas, who were the people walking the path of religion. Duryodhana was obsessed with becoming the emperor. In any case, he wanted his victory by defeating the Pandavas in this war. Neither did he care about the lives of innocents, nor was he sad to lose his brothers. He was sure that his victory was sure to be with the nobles like Bhishma Pitamah, Angraj Karna, Ashwathama and Guru Dronacharya. But contrary to his belief, the victory was to be won by the Pandavas because Shri Krishna was on their side. Shri Krishna was in favour of religion.

The Pandavas were very knowledgeable as well as powerful warriors, they did not want this war. He only wanted the right of five villages so that all the happiness could live in peace. But when Duryodhana refused to give even a piece of land to the Pandavas, there was no other way but war. In the Bhagavad-gītā, knowledge means understanding the elements of this body, soul and the divine.

On behalf of the Kauravas, Bhishma Pitamah roared like a lion and blew a conch. After this, the conch, the drums, the drums all rang together, and the sound of which roared fiercely. On the other hand, Sri Krishna and Arjuna seated on a supernatural and divine chariot adorned with white horses. The rest of the brothers in his favour played different divine conch shells. The earth and sky shook with the echoes of all their conch shells.

As the chariot started moving, Arjun's heart was filled with deep sorrow after seeing his people in front. When he could not find any answer to his dilemma, he told Shri Krishna the anguish of his mind. According to the belief, it is said that Shri Krishna Ji had stopped the time and this divine dialogue of Gita took place between Shri Krishna and Arjuna. At the same time, Maharishi Vyas gave divine vision to Sanjay, through which he could see, hear and hear every incident happening from Hastinapur to Kurukshetra. He saw this dialogue and war between Sri Krishna and Arjun and told Dhritarashtra. Sri Krishna answered every question of Arjun to calm his restless mind and then this great book came into existence.

Verse 1:

Arjun said, "O Keshav, place my chariot between the two armies. I want to see these warriors who are desirous of fighting in the war zone, with whom I will have to fight in this battle. ”
Meaning:
In this verse, it has been told that Arjun was weak in seeing his own people. His mind was getting restless and before starting the war he wanted to see which of the warriors he had to face as an enemy.
A truly knowledgeable and compassionate person can never cause trouble and sorrow to anyone. Arjuna was a great warrior as well as very knowledgeable. He was a true devotee of God and very kind. He had no desire to fight his brother and family. He did not believe in killing anyone. Therefore, thinking about the outcome of the war, his mind was filled with grief.
Similarly, when we face a difficult situation in the struggle of life, we get nervous, we get scared. At that time, we should also stop and look closely at that problem or situation and understand what kind of challenges we are going to face. By doing this, we will be able to prepare ourselves to fight it.

Verse 2:

Arjuna said - "O Krishna, everyone here is my own, how should I shed their blood?" No Madhav, it will not happen to me. Looking at my loved ones, my mind is getting weak, my mouth is being drained and my body is shivering. My Gandeev Dhanush is missing from my hand. Maybe I am not even able to stand up now. I keep forgetting myself, my mind is getting confused. "
Meaning:
Arjun was feeling physical pain because his idea of war was against the stream. Due to the love of their loved ones, there was a curtain of confusion on their mind and the mind was starting to weaken. He felt so deeply sad that his tears spilt. In the battle of good and bad thoughts, people who have good thoughts more in their minds, do not have the attachment to wealth, power, throne. Instead of these things, they consider the life of every human being precious. Here, his physical symptoms do not show his weakness but his tenderness and kindness of heart.

The same thing happens in life when something is contrary to our mind, then it seems very difficult to accept it. When a person is surrounded by sorrow and despair, many questions arise in his mind. Seeing the blockages in front, his mind starts to weaken. When faced with a hopeless and crisis-ridden situation, we panic and give up. Our intelligence gets confused due to ignorance.

Verse 3:

"Hey, Keshav! I am seeing the bad results of the war. How can we get welfare by killing our loved ones in war? In this way, I neither want to win nor the state and the happiness of the world. Even if all three worlds are given to me, I will not want to kill anyone, then what is the cost of this small kingdom on earth in front of heaven? ”
Meaning :
Staying in Arjun's mind, I was thinking that what will I gain from this war and what will I lose. Can a victory achieved by killing someone please? Can a person be happy by grieving someone?

Whether you believe in the existence of God or not, but the absolute truth is that every action has a reaction. Whatever action you do, there will definitely be some result in front of you. Even after knowing this principle of action-reaction, if we do something wrong intentionally, then we cannot experience peace. Arjun was also getting upset thinking about the result of his karma.

Verse 4:

Arjun said, "O Keshav! How will we be happy by killing our own family? It is true that they have become corrupt due to unrighteous greed but by killing them I will not be relieved, by killing them, we will only commit sin. Shouldn't we think of avoiding this sin? "
Meaning:
It has been told here that when a person becomes obsessed with getting something, then he does not fail to take the path of wrongdoing. Killing her own brothers, as Duryodhana was planning to do, tells of a man who does not listen to his conscience. Arjun never left the religion and policy. But people like Duryodhana do not hesitate to change their policy for their selfishness. Arjun was thinking how can someone be so impatient to do such a disgusting thing as killing someone. This is a great sin. Has greed blinded them so much that they have become thirsty for the blood of their own people? Arjun was thinking in his mind that it is more appropriate to forgive the Kauravas than to kill them in order to get the kingdom.
It is told in this verse that there is no end to human desires and often he adopts wrong paths to fulfil his desire like Duryodhana did. That is why we need to keep our desires and feelings under control, otherwise, it can have terrible consequences. To give happiness to this body, it is not right to do bad things to anyone.

Verse 5:

"Hey, Madhav! Destruction of the family will be destroyed, due to which sin will increase and future generations will also be ruined. Whose religion is destroyed becomes a partner of sin? We, being intelligent, are eager to kill our loved ones for greed and pleasure. It would be better if I lay down my arms and the sons of Dhritarashtra kill me, that death will also be more beneficial and beneficial for me. "
Meaning:
Arjun wants to say here that when the elders of the house passed away, the foundation of the house is shaken and the family starts to disintegrate, then the family is destroyed, which has to bear the consequences for the next generation. On the destruction of the clan, the old religion is destroyed, due to which iniquity and sin spread in the whole family. For a small piece of land, he did not want to put so much at stake. To prevent this destruction, he was ready to die. But the battlefield was decorated and they knew that in the end, they would have to fight. Restless with this sorrow, Arjun gave up his bow and went to sit in the chariot.
Arjun was intelligent but he forgot that when the old religion is misused, then it is necessary to destroy it. Only after its destruction can the foundation of new construction be laid. Change is the law of nature, so we should not panic.

Here the state of mind of the human is shown that when he sees the elections standing in front of him, he gets nervous and after giving absurd arguments and wants to run away. If nothing else, he starts to give all the baseless arguments as to why it is the right decision to retreat. The power to understand his thinking is lost and he is unable to take the right steps. In such a situation, it is important to calm your restless mind, boost your morale and face it steadily instead of running away from your karma.

Lesson:

Every chapter of Gita teaches us something. Actually, it works to connect our mind land with the battlefield of life. Here through Arjuna, the dilemma and state of mind of every human being are shown that when he is faced with a challenge in life struggle, how does his mind get surrounded by questions and he tries to run away with different excuses is.

When we face a challenge, many questions arise in our mind. These questions give rise to anxiety and fear which weaken our mind. The only way to avoid this is to gain knowledge and information. Knowledge answers our questions and only after getting the answers do the mind calm down and a calm mind can think clearly and make the right decision.

The war of life can be won only when we have knowledge. After that, no matter how big and difficult a challenge, thoughts become clear through knowledge and we know what to do and what steps to take.

The message of the first chapter of Gita is: The root cause of all the sorrows and sufferings in this world is our weakness in not being able to face the struggle.

Try to understand whatever challenge is in front of you, only then you will be able to prepare yourself to face it.

In our heartland, there is a constant struggle between positive and negative thoughts, in which you do not have to let negative thoughts dominate you.

Whenever your mind starts to get weak after seeing the problems of life, then increase your own morale and face the difficulties firmly. Do not make excuses and try to run away from it. Do your work with full vigour.

Always remember one thing that not taking any action is also an action and its reaction will definitely come in front of you, so there is more hope of getting success from thoughtful action. You have to renounce the weakness of your mind, not your karma.

Factfulness - Book Summary - Hans Rosling

Let's We Start Summaries:

introduction

Before proceeding, let's take a test quickly. Answer these three questions in your mind and remember your answers.

first question. In the last two decades, the number of people living in extreme poverty has ……
A. almost doubled
B. more or less than before or
C. Half?

B. 50% or
C. 80%

Third question, how many people have electricity facility in the world today?
A. 20%
B. 50% or
C. 80%

Do you remember your answers? Do you have any other answer coming in your mind? Let us know what are the correct answers according to United Nations Statistics,

The answer to the first question is Option C. In the last two decades, the number of people living in extreme poverty has decreased by almost half.

The answer to the second question is, Option C. 80% of children under one year of age have already been vaccinated.

The answer to the third question is option C. Today 80% of the people in the world can use electricity.

How many of your answers turned out to be correct? Are all your answers wrong? Hans Rossling often starts his lectures with a similar test.

At the beginning of his career, Hans used to get very frustrated about how wrong the attitude of people looking at the world is. He was angry and angry that how the media shows poverty and violence by making it worse.

That is why Hans Rossling made it his life's mission to change and update the way people see the world. He founded Gapminder with the help of his children, Ola and Ana. This is an organization that shows data in our lives. Gapminder makes graph and analysis even more fun and effective.

In this book, you will know the three instincts that we humans have. Which are - Gap Instinct, Negativity Instinct, and Straight Line Instinct (Gap Instinct, Negativity Instinct and Straight-Line Instinct) These three instincts blur our worldview.
Let's discuss them one by one.

Gap instinct:

What does Gap Instinct mean? It is our great misconception that the world is divided into two parts - "developing and developed countries", "Western or West countries and the rest of the countries", rich countries and poor countries ". Nothing like that. There is no difference or difference. The world has changed in the last few decades and we should also update the way we think about our world.

Let's take a look at developing and developed countries. Imagine a graph in which many circles are made. Each circle represents a country. The size of the circle shows the population of the country. On the left side of the graph, you can see two big circles which are India and China.

On the y-axis, it shows the percentage of children who remain alive from 0 to 5 years of age, and on the x-axis, it shows the average number of children how many children are there from a woman. As you can see the mark on the y-axis is written with 50% at the bottom and 100% at the top. And on the x-axis, you can see marks made from 8 children to 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.

Now, imagine that you can clearly see two parts. Suppose a part on the left side of the graph in which these developing countries, India and China are there. It shows that only 70% to 80% of children up to the age of 5 years are able to survive and it also shows that a woman has an average of 5 to 7 children.

Whereas, developed countries like America and Europe are shown on the right side of the graph. Here 90% to 100% of children up to 5 years of age live. And here a woman has only 2 to 3 children against her average.

what does this mean? This graph shows that there is clearly a gap between developing and developed countries.

The data shown in this graph is data taken from the time of 1965. It shows what the world was like in 1965, which was 5 decades ago.

Why did Hans Rossling choose the subject of child survival only to study our thinking about the world? This is because society contributes to raising and raising a child. If all the children above the age of 5 years are alive in a community, it means that there is clear water and there is plenty of food and medicines available easily. There are educated and there are medicines to prevent pregnancy.

Come, let's look at the updated graph. The graph shows the state of the world in 2017 when Hans Rossling wrote this book. Again, listen carefully.

In 2017, almost most countries have come to the right side of the graph. Suppose they have gone to the top corner on the right side of the graph. On the left side, in which we had kept developing countries, now only a few countries are left there. Most countries are now being counted among developed countries.

This simply means that that data is now outdated. They are already wrong. We should not use them now. For example, in India, 95% of children up to the age of 5 remain alive. And a woman has an average of 2 to 3 children. This is the data of 2017 and now India is already well included in the list of developed countries. It is at the top right corner of the graph.

So, if these "rich and poor", West's country and the rest of the country labels are already wrong, should we use them now? What should we use to study it properly? What should we use to help more people and provide them with adequate food, clean water, education and health care?

Hans has suggested this: The Four Income Levels

The world population is currently 7.6 billion. So, imagine a picture of a figure like 7 humans and they look like pieces of chess. Each figure shows 1 billion people.
The concept of four levels starts from here.

There are one billion people in Level-1 income. Here only one piece of chess. The daily budget of the families in Level-1 is one dollar per day. There are a total of five children in the family. The father is a farmer and the mother is a housewife. There is no facility for tap water here.

Children have to walk barefoot and fetch water from a well far away. They also collect wood and collect food so that they can be burnt and cooked. Mother cooks porridge for the whole family. They eat just this porridge every day at all times.
Whenever a storm comes, all the crops will be destroyed and the family will have no income. That 6-year-old little girl will die because there is no medicine for her cough and phlegm. All the children are malnourished, they are not getting enough and good food. Their lungs have become weak due to cooking in the fire inside the house.

This is a condition of extreme poverty. This is level-1. Statistics data shows that around 1 billion people in the world are living in this way.

There are about 3 billion people with level 2 income. Their daily budget is 4 dollars. These people can buy eggs and rice. Such families do not have to grow crops to eat. The father can have a bike motorcycle which he uses to go to his work.
But still, they do not have any facility for tap water. Yes, but there is definitely a well within a short distance. Children have slippers to wear on their feet. The mother uses a gas stove to cook. There is also a light bulb inside the house so that children can do their homework.

The father saves money so that he can buy a mat, carriage or mattress for his entire family to sleep. Life is better But when one of the children becomes ill, the mother has to borrow money or the father has to sell his motorcycle.

There are about 2 billion people with level 3 income. Today, 2 billion people around the world are living their lives on a daily budget of $ 16. Wow, that's a great improvement. After all, there is tap water and reliable electricity. Such families have a fridge in which they can keep their food and can also eat different dishes.

He also has a motorcycle which his mother uses to take two children to school. Both the parents have good salary jobs and they save their children for college studies. If someone falls ill in the family, they can use their savings to pay medical bills. Or if it does not, then the whole family can go for a walk on the beach or somewhere on the last holiday of the week.

At Level-4, there are 1 billion people. These people live on a daily budget of $ 64. The living of these families is very good. They have a car. There are many types of appliances and accessories in their home. Parents have very high salary jobs and children go to private schools. These people cannot even think of living on a budget of 1 dollar a day.

What level does your family come from? Is this level 1, 2, 3, or 4? Again, remember that there is no . You have to change your gap instinct. Today, most of the world's population lives in level-2 and level-3 income. Only 1 billion people live in a state of extreme poverty. And only 1 billion people are very rich too. Most of us are in the middle.

Even within a country or a state, there are families with Level 1, 2, 3, or 4, income. Therefore, there is no such thing as "he" and "we". Most people can now afford full food, health care and education. Now, most of the population has access to electricity and clean water. Don't you think the world is becoming a safer and better place?

negativity instinct:

If these statics do not convince you, then here are some more good information. Let us move on to the next Instinct of our list - The negativity Instinct.

This directly means that people notice more negative things than positive ones. We always feel that the world is getting worse. We like to see bad more than good. It is more fun for us to talk about negative things than positive things. That is why all the evening news is about crimes and any crisis or deficiency.

Okay. Let's talk honestly. Animals are in greater danger. The snow is melting Our seas will rise about three feet and up by the next evening. Overfishing and pollution are spoiling our seas.

The decline of the US stock market in 2007 was shocking. Many people had to lose their jobs, their money, their homes. But the system did not change and the same problem can happen again.

We should not forget terrorism and border or border or border tension.
Take a deep breath. Breathe in and release out. Hans says that if we do something right now, if we use the right and accurate data, and if different countries work together, then we get peace, prosperity, and a clean environment in our time.

Imagine a world where no child dies of malaria, where there are no suicide bombers, where no safe place is made for wild animals. Isn't that what we all want?
Let's look at our statics. People from 30 countries are asked the question "What do you think the world is getting worse, getting better, or just like that?"
More than 50% of the people responded that the world is getting worse.

55% of Japanese say that the world is getting worse. 60% of British also say the same, while 90% of the people of Turkey believe that the world has never been worse than this before.

Well, our job here is to think about positive things. So, then let's use statics to clear the misconception that the world is getting worse day by day. Let's talk about poverty again.

Keep in mind that all the graphs that Hans has shown are on the basis of United Nations data and you can see them for free by visiting the official website of the United Nations.

We have already said that the number of people living in poverty is almost half in the world today.

What evidence do we have of this? In the year 1800, 85% of the world's population had an income level-1. Most of the people were hungry. There was not enough food to eat. In the United Kingdom, children had to work so that they could get money to eat. British children start working at the age of 10 on average.

And yes, in 1800, 20% of the Swedish population, including Hans's relatives, moved to the United States in the hope of a better life. Most of them never returned to Sweden again.

Imagine a graph again. There is a percentage of people living in extreme poverty on the y-axis. So, you will see that there are marks from 0% to 50%, to 100%. And on the x-axis, you will see the year. Years on the x-axis begin at 1800, and then 1850, then 1900, and 2000.

You will see on the graph, that from 1800 to 1966, the number of people living in extreme poverty is gradually decreasing. Let's repeat it again. In the year 1800, the number of people living in very poverty has come down from 85% to only 50% by the year 1966.

Now, in 1966, a huge change took place. The world war is over. It is a time or period of a long piece. Now listen to it carefully, since 1966, the rate of very poor poverty has come down to only 9% in 2017.

This means that as of 2017, only 9% of the world's population is living on a $ 1 budget every day. The best thing is that poverty has come down very fast in the last 20 years. It has decreased faster than any time in history.

Let us look at it carefully. In 1997, in both India and China, 42% of the population there was in very poverty. But as of 2017, only 12% of Indians are very poor. This means that from 1997 to 2017, 270 million people have reached Level-2 or Level-3.
And in China, a lot of poverty has come down to 0.7% in 2017. This means that one billion Chinese people have come out of the conditions of extreme poverty.

How old were you in 1997? Have you noticed the change in the lifestyle of your family? Hans says we should celebrate. We should be happy because in just two decades 29% of the world's population has got rid of too much poverty.

Today is a good chance for you to smile and stay positive.

Straight-line instinct:

Now, let's move on to the last biggest misconception or misconception on our list - The Straight-Line Instinct. It is believed that the world's population will always just grow. With the passage of time more children will be born and after all this earth will not be able to meet our needs.

Do you remember the story of Lord Krishna? The same story in which they ask for twice as much rice as they cross every square in the chessboard? On the first square, he asked for a grain of rice. On the other, Lord Krishna already had two grains. On the third one, he already had three grains.

With each crossing square, the number of grains of rice doubles. So, similarly, they have 8, then 16, then 32, then 64 grains. On the last square of the chessboard, Lord Krishna found 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice.

This is what the straight-line instinct means. We think that the number on the graph will also increase in a similar way.

Okay, let's test your knowledge once again. Answer this question. According to the statistics of the United Nations, there are 2 billion children living in the world today. Their age is between 0 and 15.

How many children will be here by the year 2100?
Is it A. 4 billion? B. 3 billion? Or C. 2 billion?
If we draw it on a graph, Option A. 4 billion is a straight line going up. Whereas in the meantime, for option C. 2 billion, the line is going up and then going to a point, a flat line is being formed.

What is your answer?
Perhaps you would have given your answer to option A. 4 billion, just like the social science teachers who ask at Hans conference. Meanwhile, 26% of World Economic Forum experts gave their answer as option C. 2 million.

Let us once again look at the graph of the United Nations to reveal the correct answer. It shows the population of children between 0 and 14 years of age in the world. It also shows the estimate for the future of the UN.

On the y-axis in the graph, you can see that 0 to 1 billion, 2 billion, 3 billion, 4 billion. And on the x-axis, you can see years from 1950, 2000, 2050, and then 2100.
The correct answer is Option C. By the year 2100, there will be 2 billion children between the ages of 0 to 14 years in the world. Just as many as today. The correct graph is not a straight line.

Between 2000 and 2010, the rate of increase stopped. As we were saying this is already happening. The world's population will not continue to grow forever. With the passage of years, the number of children born will not double.

The United Nations has stated its estimate that by the year 2100, the world population will remain 10 billion to 12 billion and will remain the same in the future. Experts call this trend "flattening of the curve".

Why is this happening? This is happening because, today, people are more educated. We have gone from farming to the digital age, so families no longer need many children to help in farming. There are better health care facilities so the death rate of children is low. Parents do not need more children.

Today, we have more access to ways to stop sex education and pregnancy. Parents want fewer children so that they can provide better education and good care to the children. Family planning is done to ensure that the children are healthy and well educated.

In this way, the straight-line instinct is incorrect:
In 1965, a woman averaged 5 children. But in 2017, this rate came down to one child only. The UN has speculated that till the year 2100 and after that, it will remain the same.

If we continue to educate our children, if we improve health care and family planning, then the UN's estimate will be correct. Every parent wants to give their children a better happy life, right?

In this way, we can maintain our civilization on this planet. We will not have to run to Mars-like science fiction films.

Conclusion:

In this book, you learned about three major misconceptions or misconceptions. These are called gap instinct, negativity instinct, and straight-line instinct.
You know that the world is not divided into two parts. There are no rich and poor countries here. Labels with a developing and developed world are outdated. You also have to change your perspective to see and understand the world.
If you have a passion and positive attitude, you can take your family from level-1 income to level-2, level-3, and even level-4.
You also learned that you should not be negative. The headlines that you see in the news are shown to be very exaggerated. Poverty in the world is less and crime is also less.
As a new generation, we have the power to make the world a safer and better place.
If we are more understanding about the beliefs of all the people i.e. the bailiff system, if we choose to be more compassionate with each other, if we choose to take more care of our environment, then only our children will be in peace and a good environment Will be able to enjoy
In this book, you also learned about straight-line instincts. The population of the world will not always increase. We have reached the flatline where the number of children born remains the same every year. By the year 2075, there will be 11 billion people and if we choose the right decision then this number will stop there.
Now that you have all this information, what will you do with it? Whatever career you are making now, you can contribute to the change that we want to see happening in the world. Whether you are a teacher, doctor, engineer, programmer, carpenter or whatever work you do, you can do anything.
Over time you too will become a parent. You can create the future you want for your children. Think about it
You can also watch Hans' TED talk video on YouTube. He is a very funny and good teacher. Like his organization gapminder, Hans makes the information more exciting and interesting.
Hans died in 2017 due to ill health. But he is changing the world with this small effort and you can do the same.

About This Book:

For Sherlock Holmes, she will always be the 'The Woman'. I did not hear Holmes calling him by any other name. In the eyes of Holmes, his status is the highest of all women in this world and he is superior to all women. It was not that his feelings for Irene Adler were love.
All the emotions, especially love, were stupid things for a person like him with a cold and balanced mind. To give a reason or to observe something, hardly anyone in the whole world can match it. But when it comes to love, he definitely makes a mistake. Holmes never talks about love, he just taunts and laughs mockingly. But by doing this, no one knows about his intentions and tricks.

A Scandal in Bohemia - Book Summary - Arthur Conan Doyle

Now We Start Summary:

For those whose work is to observe others, it is right for them. People like Sherlock Holmes, who has a habit of answering nap and Libra, if they express their emotions, then perhaps their mind can wander and their decisions can be relieved. If any clay or stone goes away in any of its important instruments, or it breaks in the glass of its high-power lens, all this does not give it much tension, but when a person of his nature has to face great emotions, then it is very Disturbing occurs. Still, for Sherlock Holmes, she was just a woman, Irene Adler, who was difficult to believe completely, she was no longer in this world.
I haven't met Holmes much in recent times. We could not get much after my marriage. My happy married life and household responsibilities caught all my attention. On the other hand, Holmes, whose heart is bohemian, was not interested in anything about society. He must have been buried under his books in our lodge on Baker Street.
For weeks, he would be alternately engulfed between cocaine and his ambition. Sometimes drunk on drugs and sometimes in the passion and passion of his work. Even today, studying crime attracts a lot. He uses his experience and extraordinary power to observe and solve clues and remove the veil from the mysteries in which the police also fail. Many times I have heard the news of Holmes's name being added to the case. These included the Trap of Murder, the case of the Atkinson brothers of Trincomalee, and finally the mission of the Royal Family of Holland which he met with great care and success. I shared these things of Holmes with the readers of the Daily Press Newspaper. Still, I do not know anything about my old friend Holmes except these activities.
On the night of 20 March 1988, as I was returning from my patient's home, (I had started civil practice), Baker Street used to fall on my way. I passed by a familiar door there. This door has always been in my mind since the days of my flirting and also with the dreaded accident of the "Study in Scarlet" case. Passing through this place, I had a great desire to meet Holmes again. I also had to know where he is using his Extraordinary Powers. When I reached her room, I saw that the room was very bright with light.
As soon as I took my eyes, I saw his long and thin body in dark clothes, moving from the front of the screen twice. He was wandering around in his room quickly and with restlessness. His head was on his chest and he tied both his hands behind the waist. I know all his moods and habits. His attitude and habits tell his own story. It seemed that he had started working again. After getting out of his addiction, he was busy with a new problem. I played the doorbell and I was seated in the room that once used to be my room.
There was no warmth, no familiarity in his gesture. Well, it does not happen anyway. But I think, he was happy to see me, maybe. He did not say anything, but with the gesture of eyes, he asked me to sit on a chair there. Then the cigar case was thrown at me. After that, he pointed to a spirit case and gasoline making soda lying in the corner.
"Marriage suits you" - she said. "Watson, I think you have increased your weight by seven-and-a-half pounds since you last saw me."
"Seven pounds" - I replied.
"Yes, I should have thought a little more before I spoke. I objected that you have started your practice again. You did not tell me beforehand that you wanted to start your work back." - said Holmes.
"Hey, how did you know," I asked.
"I look first, then I come to the conclusion. Well, how did I know that you get wet every day and your maid is very fluffy and an aery?"
"My dear Holmes, I said. It is too much. Yes, it is true that on Thursday I went away from the city to walk and I returned home in a very dirty condition. But I changed clothes Hai, I am not able to imagine how you came to know all this. There is really no improvement in our maid, Mary-Jane, so my wife has given her notice. But I do not understand that you did know-how.
He laughed and rubbed his long hands among themselves.
"It's very simple," he said. "I saw that in the leather on the side of your left shoe, where the light of the fire shines, there are about six cuts. It is clear that someone is very clothed to clean the sole of your shoes." .. Look, I got to know two things together, one is that you went somewhere in bad weather and that slitting in shoes can be the work of a mad maid of London. Talking about your practice, If a gentleman comes to my room with a smear of inform, the first finger of his right hand is covered with a black speck of silver-nitrate and the right side of his hat is raised where he hides his stethoscope, then I loose an I would be called a human being if I could not even tell that such a person is actively working in the medical profession. "
As easily as he explained the process of extracting results, I could not stop my laughter. "When I listen to your reasoning, I feel that it was so simple that I would have done it myself. But, whenever you tell your region one by one, I am surprised when Till you don't expand your process. I still think that my eyes are as sharp as yours. "- I said.
"It is so." He said while burning cigarettes and sitting on the couch. "U C, you just don't supervise. The difference is clear. For the exam, here are the stairs that you have seen many times."
"Yes many times"
" So many times?"
"Well, maybe several hundred times."
"So how many steps does it have?"
"How many? I don't know." - I said.
"That's it!", He said. "You haven't even done the observation while you have seen the stairs. That is my point. I know there are 19 steps because I have seen and supervised it too. By the way, because of your interest in these small problems And you wrote the events well in some of my small cases, so I think you will get interested in this too. " He tossed a thick pink coloured note-paper on the table and said- "It came in the last post, read it out loud".
There was no date written in that note, nor was there any address and signature in it.
"Tonight you have to do something," - wrote in it. "At a quarter to eight, a Gentleman wants to consult you with one of his Important Matter. The service you recently gave in one of the royal houses of Europe shows that you can easily trust even more important matters. Maybe. We have heard the same thing about you from all over. You should stay in your chamber at that time and if your visitor is wearing a mask, do not misunderstand it. "
"It's really a mystery," - I said. "What do you think it means."
"I do not have any data. It is a big mistake to guess before getting the data. Inadvertently, people distort the truth to make their theory true, rather than making their own theory for the truth." But look at this note, what did it make sense? - Holmes asked.
I looked carefully at the handwriting written in the note, and that paper too.
"The person who wrote it is probably rich," I said. I said this while trying to copy my friend's process. "Not everyone can buy such paper. It was loud and strong, totally different.
"Quite apart - that's it," Holmes said. "It's not the paper here, just look at it in light."

"I did it the same way, and saw on it" capital "E" small "g" "a" "P" and then small "t" with capital "G" is woven on the paper.
"What did you understand by this?" Holmes asked.
"The person who created this paper is probably his name or a monogram of that person."
"Not at all. 'G' 't' means 'Gesellschaft' which means 'company' in German. This is the same as we write 'Co' and of course, 'P' means 'Papier.' Now, Finding 'Eg' in the Continental Gazetteer. Saying this, he got off his shelf and started checking. 'Egria', yes 'Eg' is 'Egria'. This is a small German-speaking country of Bohemia.
"That is the place of Valenstein's death scene, and a lot of glass factories and paper mills," - I said. "Haha, my friend, what did you mean by that?" Holmes spoke. His eyes started glowing and he blew smoke from his cigarette.
"The paper is made in Bohemia." - I said.
"Of course, and, the person who wrote the note in German. Did you notice this strange way of making a sentence? A French or Russian person cannot write like this. Only a German can write such. So, now you know It is left that this German who writes on a Bohemian paper wants to hide his face with a mask, what are his motives. If I am not wrong, that person has reached here to clear our doubts. "- Holmes said.
As soon as he was finished, the sound of the horse's top and the wheels were heard. Then the doorbell rang. Holmes hit a whistle.
"There are two horses" - he guessed. "Yes," he said looking at the window and confirming. "A beautiful buggy and two beautiful horses". It seems there is a lot of money in this case. Watson, if none of your business is here… "
I cut it off and said - "I should go from here, Holmes."
"No, no doctor at all. Stay where you are. Without you, I will feel lost and this case looks very interesting. If you miss it, it will be very bad."
"But your client"
"Don't mind him. I may need your help and maybe he too. Lou has come. Sit down in that armchair and listen carefully to both of us."
A heavy voice on the feet slowed down, first coming up the stairs, then through the passage and stopped at the door. Then came a loud knock at the door.
"Come in!" Said Holmes.
A person came inside who should not have been less than 6 feet 6 inches in height. His chest and hands were like Hercules. The clothes were expensive, but it was worse than the standard of England. The sleeves of his double-breast coat and the front were covered with lots of fur bands. Whereas, his blue cloak with red silk linings was spread over his shoulder and tied on the neck with a brooch with expensive stones. He wore long brown fur boots up to the calf muscles. So far, seeing him, which was becoming an impression of being cruel and rich, these boots had completed the task. He held a thick-edged hat in his hands and the top part of his face was covered with a black mask. He entered the room fixing his mask. Looking at the under part of his face, it seemed that he was a strong character whose lips were thick and hanging and chin was long and ladder. His face was telling that he would be insolent due to which this case could be prolonged.
"You got my note?" He asked in a deep voice with his German accent. "I told you that I will meet you." Sometimes he was looking at me and sometimes Holmes, he did not know whom to talk to.
"My request is that you sit down," Holmes said. “This is my friend and colleague, Dr Watson, who often helps me in my case. Can I know who I am talking to? "
"You can call me Count von Krem. I am a nobleman of Bohemia.
I hope that this friend of yours is trustworthy and sensible and I can trust him on my important matter. If not, I would like to talk to you in private. "
I stood up to leave but Holmes grabbed my hand and pushed me back into the chair. "Either we both live or none," Holmes said. "Whatever you want to talk to me, you can do it with these gentlemen too."
The count shook his shoulders and said- "So, I should start my talk. Both of you have to keep this secret for two years, then after that, the matter will not be of any importance. But for now, I will I can say that this matter can affect the history of Europe. "
"I promise," Holmes said.
"And I too," I said.
"Sorry to wear the mask," said the stranger. "Those who sent me here did not want you to see their agent. I want to tell you one truth, the introductions I gave a while back were not right."
"I know," - said Holmes in a rough style.
"This is a very delicate matter, so we have to be careful or else it can become a big scandal. If this happens then it can hit this royal house of Europe. Simply put, it will be the house of Ormstein of Bohemia. It is a matter related to kings.
"I know this too," Holmes said softly and closed the eyes and sat in the armchair.
Our guest looked at this dull and relaxed person with a little surprise. It can be said without doubt that he must have been told about Holmes that he is the best and energetic agent of Europe. Holmes opened his eyes slowly and looked at his tall wide clientele.
"If His Majesty had talked on this case himself, I could have given better advice on this," Holmes said.
As soon as he heard this, the person jumped out of his chair and started moving around, upset in the room. Then, restless, tore off his face mask and threw it on the ground. "You're right," she shouted. "I am the king. Why should I hide this thing?"
"Yes, why hide?" Holmes whispered. "Your Majesty, I knew before you said anything that I am talking to Wilhelm Gottsrach Sigismond von Ormstein, Grand Duke of Kassel-Feldstein and King of Bohemia (Wilhelm Gottsreich Sigismond von Ormstein, Grand Duke of Cassel-Felstein) . "
"But, you can understand," our strange guests sat down again, saying this and turning their hands on their white foreheads, "You can understand that I don't have to do any of my work by myself. But, this matter is so delicate that I could not trust my agent just like that, so I have come here from Prague to consult with you in secret. "
"So consult," Holmes said closing his eyes.
"I tell you in short, some five years ago, during a visit in Warsaw, I met Irene Adler. Of course, you also recognize this name." The guest said.
"Please find this name in my index, Doctor," Holmes said slowly without opening his eyes. For many years, he had created a system in which he used to write his details about people and things. I got Irene Adler's biography.
" Let me see!" Holmes said. "Hmm! Born in 1858 in New Jersey, retired from the Opera in Warsaw, and lives in London. Your Majesty, as far as I can understand, you got caught up in this young lady, you wrote her some personal letters and now You want that letter back. "
"That's what I want, but how," the guest asked.
"Did you have a secret wedding with her?" Holmes asked back.
"No"
"Any legal paper or certificate?"
"No"
"Then I do not understand you, your Majesty. Even if this young lady thought of using your letters for blackmail or any other purpose, how can she prove that letter to be true?"
"From writing"
"Forgery, by deceit"
"My private note-paper has been stolen."
"My seal has also been copied"
"Someone has bought my photograph too. There are two of us in the photo."
"Oh, that's very bad. Your Majesty really did this job without thinking."
" I was mad."
"You have put yourself in serious trouble."
"I used to be the Crown Prince in those days, not the King. I was young then, I'm 30 now."
"Those letters have to be obtained."
"We are tired of trying."
"Your Majesty should buy him money."
"She doesn't want to sell letters."
"Then it can also be stolen"
"It has been tried five times. Twice, two thieves took the money and searched her entire house. Once she was travelling, she picked up her luggage, twice she was asked to stop. But, no result. Not out. "
"Didn't even get a clue?"
"Not found at all."
"This is really a small problem," Holmes said with a laugh.
"But I have a big problem"
"Really. But what does she want to do with the photograph."
"Ruin me"
" But how."
" I am going to get married."
"Yes, I have also heard."
"The second daughter of the King of Scandinavia, with Clotilde Lothman von Saxe-Menninger. You must have heard about the strict principles of her family. She herself is a very delicate girl. I have a little doubt about my antics. Can finish it. "

"And, Irene Adler?"
"Irene has threatened to send her the photo and, she can do it. I know, she can do it. You don't know her, her heart is as hard as steel. Her face is one of the most beautiful faces.", And her mind with strong intentions. I am not married to anyone else, so she can go to any extent. "
"Are you sure he hasn't sent the photo yet?"
" I believe."
"How is that?"
"Because he said that the photo will be sent on the same day that my engagement in public comes and that day is on the next Monday"
"Oh, so we still have three days," Holmes said boisterously. "That's a good thing, I have one or two very important matter that I have to see now. Your Majesty, are you sure you are living in London right now?"
"Sure, you can find me in Countham named Count von Kram."
"Then I will write to you and tell you how much progress we are making."
"I also pray the same, but I will be troubled."
"Then, what about money?"
"Blank check"
" Indeed?"
"Let me tell you, I can give any part of my state to get that photograph."
"And, for current expenses?"
The king took out a heavy leather bag from inside his cloak and placed it on the table.
"It has three hundred pounds of gold and seven hundred pounds of cash," he said.
Holmes wrote a receipt and gave him a hand.
"And, ma'am's address?" Holmes asked.
"Brioni Lodge, Serpentine Avenue, St. Johns Wood."
Holmes noted the address. " one more question." He asked. "Was that a cabinet photo?"
"Yes."
"Good night, your Majesty, I am sure we will bring you some good news soon. Good night Watson." He said. The Royal Wagon got out on the road. "If possible, meet me tomorrow at three o'clock in the afternoon Watson, I want to talk to you in this little matter."

At exactly three o'clock I reached Baker Street but Holmes had not yet returned. Landlady told me that he had left the house at eight o'clock in the morning. Regardless of how long I have to wait, I will do it, thinking that I started waiting for it near the fire. I had a great desire to know about his inquiry. But like the previous two cases, there is no strange or serious thing in this case, but then due to the nature of the case and being a high-status client, this case has its own distinct character.
Yes, apart from the nature of this case, my friend has such things that he considers the situation like a master and decides it after thinking. Because of all these things, I enjoy understanding his system. His method is to look at things quickly and closely so that he also resolves the impossible case. I had become so used to his success that the thought of his failure was not in my mind.
It was four o'clock in the afternoon when the door opened, a man who was in vain as he drank alcohol, entered inside. He was in disguise of the groom, his face was red and his clothes were clumsy. I knew about the amazing power of disguising my friend. I had to watch that person three times carefully to understand that he is indeed my friend Holmes. He shook his head and went to his bedroom, and in five minutes got out wearing a suit. Then he put his hand in his pocket, spread his legs in front of the fireplace and laughed for a while.
Saying "What, really!" His tears came out while laughing, he started laughing while laughing, yet he kept laughing until he was tired and lay down in the chair.
" What happened?" I asked
"Everything is very funny. I'm sure you won't know what I did in the morning?"
"No, I can't imagine. You had to chase Miss Irene Adler or her house."
"You can say the same, but everything happened strangely. I tell you. I got out of the house a little after eight o'clock in the morning. I made a disguise for a groom who needed a job. Here are the people who are interested in horses." There is a great brotherhood between them and they take care of each other's needs. Disguise one of them, and know everything that you want to know. By doing this, I came to know Briyoni Lodge. They are two- The storied villa is behind the garden and is further up to the road. The door has a chubb lock. Inside, there is a very large seating room on the right side which is fully furnished. Its long windows touch the floor, such that Handles are fitted which children can open easily.
Apart from these, there is nothing worth remembering. I visited the villa and saw it from every angle, but I did not find anything interesting there.
"Then I took a walk on the road and saw that there was a horse stable in the same lane where I helped clean the horse. In return, I got some money, cigarettes and all the information I was looking for about Miss Adler. I also had to listen to the stories of a lot of people living in that street.
"What did you hear about Irene Adler?" I asked
"Oh, that she has bowed the head of all the men in that area. She is the most beautiful thing on this planet hidden behind the hat. She lives her life silently, sings in concerts, every day at five o'clock in the evening. I go out and come back for dinner at seven o'clock. Apart from that she never goes out to sing. Only one person comes to her house, but he comes quite often. This person looks dark, It is handsome and dashing, and it comes at least once a day, sometimes even twice. His name is Mr Godfrey Norton, a Lover of the Inner Temple. Look at the advantages of winning the trust of cab drivers. Serpentine - The man used to use the taxi quite often while going out of the street of the Muse. So the drivers knew a lot about him, which I found out and went to Brioni Lodge to plan ahead. "
"It is obvious that Godfrey Norton is an important factor in this case. It seems a bit wrong to have a Loire. What is the relationship between them and what is the reason for her to go home again and again? Is she her client, Is a friend or is his lover. If he is a client, then he has probably given that photograph to him. And, if he is a lover, he may not have given it. So, the question is whether I should work in Brioni Lodge itself or else In that gentleman's chamber in the inner temple. This is a very delicate point because I have to keep an eye on more people now. I know that I will bore you by listening to all these details, but I want you to understand the situation. If you want, then also know about my small difficulties.
"I follow you very closely," I answered.
"I kept thinking in my mind that a beautiful cab came out of the Briony Lodge from which a gentleman came out. He was a handsome, dark, high-nosed and moustache person who was obviously the person about whom I had just heard from the people. It seemed too early and she shouted and asked the cab to stop. On opening the maid's door, he went straight in so that he felt that he was well aware of this house. "
"He was in this house for half an hour and I saw him walking around in the sitting room, shaking hands, and talking in excitation. But, I couldn't see Miss Adler at all. Then, the person was out. He came but now he seemed even more upset than before. As he sat in his cab, he took out the gold watch from his pocket and looked at it carefully. "Drive fast," he shouted. "First of all Gross & Regent Street Hankey's Walk, then St. Monica's Church of Edgeware Road. If you deliver to me in twenty minutes, you will get more money. "
When he left, I was thinking whether I would be able to follow him or not, then there came a beautiful carriage. I saw Miss Adler open the door of her hall and sat directly in the coach. I could only see a glimpse of her face, but I came to know that she was very beautiful. His face was dead. "St. Monica's Church, John," she shouted, "I will pay you in twenty minutes."
"This is a great opportunity, I should not lose it. I was wondering if I should hang in his cart or I should run after him, then a cab passed by then. Seeing my condition, the cab driver told me Twice but before he would say anything, I quickly sat in his cab. "St. Monica's Church," I said. "If I get you there in twenty minutes, I will pay more." Twenty-five minutes left at twelve o'clock, Of course, I was able to understand what was happening.
My driver drove the cab fast. I do not think I would have travelled so fast before, but even then people were already there before me. When I arrived, the cab with the cab and the horses was standing near the same door. I paid the driver and ran towards the church. There was no one except the two of them, the father of the church was standing together who was refusing anything about both of them. All three of them were standing in front of the church altar. I went for a walk as if someone had reached the church while walking. But suddenly, all three of them turned towards me and then Godfrey Norton came running to me.
"Thank God," he said. "You are enough, come here."
" What happened after that?" I asked Holmes.
Holmes began to expand his talk.
Godfrey Norton said - "Come quickly, there are only three minutes left, otherwise it will not be legal after that."
"I was taken to Altar, and before I could understand anything, I kept doing everything that they were asking me to do, I was helping them both without knowing anything. All this very much It happened quickly. On one side, that gentleman was telling me to thank you. Father was happy to see me. This was the most strange incident in my life and now I am laughing even thinking about it. There was something missing in his documents. Because of which the father did not want to marry him without any witness. So my being there proved lucky for him because he did not have to run on the way to find another best man. The new bride gave me a gold coin, remember this opportunity For I will wear it on my watch. "
"Whatever happened was so unexpected, Holmes," I said. " What happened after that ?"
"Well, now I felt my whole plan was in danger. I thought that these couples would leave the church immediately, so I was also preparing myself to take the necessary steps quickly. But, going to the church door The two split up. He turned to the chamber and headed to his home. "I'll meet you in the park at five in the evening as usual," he told Norton. They set out in different directions and I also started preparing. "
"Which preparation?" I asked
"Some food and a glass of beer, he said while ringing the doorbell." I was so busy that I could not even think of eating food and I think I will be busy tonight too. By the way doctor, I need your support. "
"I will be happy."
"Will you be able to break the law?"
"Yes, I will."
"If there is a chance of arrest?"
"It doesn't matter if it's for good work."
"Work is awesome."
"Then I am your brother only."
"I knew I could count on you."
"But what do you want?"
"When Mrs Turner brings the tray, I will clear you everything." Seeing Landlady, who brought a simple meal, with great appetite, he said, "I have to discourage eating this thing, I do not have much time. It is now five o'clock and we will have an action scene in the next two hours." But we have to arrive. Madame Irene returns at seven o'clock from her drive. We have to reach the lodge and meet her. "

" then after that?" I asked
"Leave all the rest to me, I have prepared all the preparations for what is going to happen. I am telling you the same thing, you will not fall in the middle, whatever happens. Understand. ? "
"Don't I have to do anything at all?"
"Just don't do anything, whatever happens. There might be something wrong. But you don't come in the middle. I'll go inside the house after that and after four-five minutes the window of the sitting room will open. All you need is that window." To stand near. "
" Okay."
"You gotta keep an eye on me, I'll see you."
"I will give you one thing that you will throw me inside the room when I raise my hands and at the same time you will have to shout fire. You understand?"
" Absolutely."
"There is nothing more dangerous," he said, taking out something like a cigar roll from his pocket. "It is a common plumber smoke-rocket. There is a cap on both sides of which it will burn itself. Your work So much so that when you shout fire, many people will believe it to be true. Then you go to the end of the road, I will be there in ten minutes. I hope that I have explained you all very well. "
"I have to be neutral, go to the window, see you, and throw this thing as soon as you get the signal, then make a noise for the fire and wait for you in the street corner."
"Absolutely," said Holmes.
"Then you can trust me."
"Excellent. I think it's time, I should prepare for my new role."
Saying this, he went to his bedroom and after a few minutes, came out in a straight father character. His black hat, big trousers, white tie, his smile and kindness of face, only a good actor can do this. Holmes had not only changed his clothes, his gestures, his habits changed everything he wanted. The stage had lost a great actor due to Holmes becoming a crime specialist and Science had asked the right questions.
"When we got out of Baker Street, it was already a quarter past six and by the time we reached Serpentine Avenue, there was still ten minutes to complete an hour. While we were wandering around at Briony Lodge, we were waiting for Madame Adler. It was evening and the lamps were lit. That villa was the same as what I had imagined after Holmes's description, but the area was not much private which I did not expect. In this small quiet area of a small road, I was too much agitated. A group of people stood in the corner smiling and laughing, a knife sharpener was standing, two horses were flirting with a nurse, and some young boys Dressed in luxurious clothes, strolling on the street with cigars in their mouths.
When the two of us were moving around outside that house, Holmes said- "UC, this marriage has made the matter easier. That photograph has now become a weapon with both sides. It can happen It is that after marriage, she would not like Mr Norton to see that photograph, just as our clients do not want the photograph to come in front of their princess. But the question is where to find this photograph. "
"Really, where to find?" I said.
"It is not possible that she will move around with such a large photograph. She is a cabinet size photo. It is impossible to hide it in a woman's dress. She knows that the king has so much power that he can easily investigate It has been tried twice. So we have to assume that she does not move around taking photographs.
"Then where to find?"
"She may have a banker or a lawyer. But I think they won't either. Women are naturally secretive and they like to keep their secrets. So why would she photograph someone else? Maybe She only trusts herself the most. Anyway, you remember, she talked about using that photo within a few days, which means that a photograph is a place where she can take it quickly. The photograph will be inside his house. "
"But his house was stolen twice."
"They didn't know where to find."
"But how will you be able to find?"
"I will not find."
"What will you do then?"
"I will force him to show me himself."
"She will refuse."
"She will not be able to do it. I hear the sound of wheels. She has the sound of the cart. Now you just follow all my orders."
While he was still talking, the lights of the lights on the side of the coach were found there. The smart sea bug stopped right outside the door of the Brioni Lodge. As he stopped there, one of the loafers standing in the corner ran to open the door of the wagon. He thought that he would get some money from this, but there came another loafer and pushed him. He too needed money to open the door. They started fighting, the fight escalated even further when two guards arrived there. Those guards supported one loafer and he reached to support the other loafer who had sharpened the knife. The quarrel increased greatly. Meanwhile, Madam came out of her wagon and kept trying to get out of the middle of all those people.
They were beating each other like crazy with kick, bribes and baton. Holmes ran to save Madame, but as soon as he came to Madame, he screamed a loud scream and fell to the ground, bleeding from his face. As soon as he fell down, all the fighting men stood away. Some people, who were dressed in good clothes and were watching this fight from afar, reached there to help the lady and the injured Holmes. Irene Adler, I will still call that woman by the same name, quickly descended down the stairs.
"This Gentleman didn't get hurt much?" He asked.
"He's dead," shouted some from the crowd.
"No, no, there is still life left in it!" Shouted another. "But he will die before reaching the hospital."
"This is a very brave man," said a woman. "If they were not there, they would have snatched both the lady's purse and the watch. Those people were of the gang, very rough, hey, look at them, they are breathing."
"We can't leave them on the road like that, can we take them indoors, ma'am?"
"Sure, take them to the sitting room. There is a comfortable sofa there. Walk from this side."
People slowly took him inside Brioni Lodge and lay in the room. I was watching all this from my position near the window. The lights of the house were lit but the curtains were not dropped, so I could see that he was lying on the sofa. I don't know why Holmes did this, but I have never felt ashamed of myself as much as I was seeing what I was plotting against. She was very beautiful and was very lovingly taking care of the injured Holmes. Nevertheless, if I step back from the work that Holmes had given me by trusting, then it would be a big fraud with Holmes. I hardened my heart and took out a smoke-rocket from my coat. After all, we were not doing him any harm. We just wanted to stop him from causing harm to someone else.
Holmes got up and sat on the sofa, I looked at him and felt as if he was trying to breathe. A maid came there quickly and she opened the window. At the same time, I saw him raising his hand and pointing, as soon as I got this signal, I threw the smoke-rocket inside the room and shouted "fire-fire". It had come out of my mouth that the whole crowd standing there shouted fire.
In the whole room, the smoke spread and started coming out of the window. I saw glimpses of people running, and after a while, I heard Holmes' voice from inside telling people that it was a false alarm. Passing through the noisy crowd, I reached the corner of the road and after ten minutes Holmes also reached there. I was very happy that my friend was now standing with me in my hand and we had come out of so much noise. He walked fast for a few minutes and did not speak until we reached a deserted road that went straight to Edgeware Road.

"You did a great job, Doctor," she said. "Nothing could be better than this. Everything is fine."
"You got the photograph?"
"I know where she is kept."
"How did you know that?"
"He only showed me, I told you, didn't I?"
"I do not understand."
"I don't want to keep it a secret," he said and started laughing. "It was a very simple matter. You saw that all the people in the street were meeting with us."
"That's what I guessed."
"When the quarrel started, I kept a little red paint in my hand. I ran away, deliberately dropped, then applied the paint on my hand to my face and lay down and silently watched everything silently. It was a very old Trick. "
"I thought so."
"Then he took me in. She had to take me in. What could she do? Inside the sitting room was the room that I suspected. It was in both this room and one of its bedrooms. Which I had to find out. They laid me on the couch and when I acted to try to get air, they had to open the windows of their house, and you got a chance to throw a smoke rocket. "
"What did it help you with?"
"It was very important to do all this. When a woman's house is on fire, she immediately runs to pick up the thing that is most dear to her. I have taken advantage of this many times before, such as the Darlington Subversion Scandal And in the Armsworth Castle business case. A mother runs to take her child and the woman who is not married runs away to get her jewellery. It was clear that our lady has nothing more valuable than that photograph and so she Hearing the name of the fire, only you will run away to get it.
The fire alarm was also sounded at the right time. The smoke and noise were so high that even man-made steel could be shaken. The response of the lady was also very good. A secret spot is formed behind the sliding panel, just above the bell-shaped right rope, the photograph is lying there. She immediately reached there and I saw her taking out the photograph and, when I said that it is a false alarm, she put it back. She saw the smoke rocket and went inside her room. After this, I did not see him again. I then stood up and made excuses and ran away from that house. I was confused as to whether the photograph should be taken out or not, but then the coachman reached there and was watching me very carefully. Therefore, waiting was the safe option. Being over-zealous could have messed up everything. "
" and now?" I asked
"Our work is finished, understand. I will meet the king tomorrow, you too can go there with us, if you want. We will be seated there in the sitting room and by the time the lady arrives in the room to meet us, there will not be a photograph And neither will we. If the king removes it from his own hands, he will probably be happier. "
"And, when will you call them?"
"Eight o'clock in the morning. She won't get up so our way will be clear at that time. Still, we have to do everything very quickly, her life and habits can also change after marriage. I have to report to the king quickly."
We stood in front of the Baker Street polythene and door. Holmes was looking for the keys in his pocket when someone passed by and said- "Good night, Mr Sherlock Holmes."
At that time there were a lot of people in the street and there was a young man in a lean, long coat saying good night who left immediately.
"I have heard that voice before," Holmes said looking at the road. "Now I am wondering who the person maybe."
That night I slept in Baker Street, in the morning while we were still taking our coffee and toast, the King of Bohemia came to the room running away.
"You got that!" King said, placing his hands on both shoulders of Holmes and looking at his face.
" not now."
"But you trust that you will find it?"
"Yes, trust."
"Come on, I can't wait to go there anymore."
"We should take the cab."
"No, my cart is parked outside."
"Then the work became easy." We got out of the house and started again towards Briyoni Lodge.
"Irene Adler got married," Holmes said.
"Marriage! When?" King asked.
" Tomorrow."
"But with whom?"
"An English Loire with Mr Norton."
"But she does not love him."
"I hope she does"
"Why hope?"
"Because your Majesty will end all the worries of your future. Because if she loves her husband, it does not mean that she does not love you. If she does not love you, she will never come in your way."
"That's right! But still! Well! I wish she married me. She would have been a good queen!" Saying this, he fell silent and remained silent till he reached Serpentine Avenue.
The door of Briyoni Lodge was open and an old woman was standing on the stairs there. She was looking at us in a strange way, descending from the train.
"Mr Sherlock Holmes?" They said.
"I am Sherlock Holmes," my friend said looking at the old woman with surprise.
"Sure! My madam said that you can come here. She then left for Europe with her husband from Charing Cross, in the 5:15 morning train."
" What!" Sherlock staggers back. He asked angrily and surprised, "You mean she left England?"
"Never to return"
"More paper?" King asked. "Everything is over."

" We see." Holmes ran towards the sitting room after saying this. I and the king also ran after him. All the furniture inside was scattered here and there, shelves were uprooted, drawers were open. It seemed that the lady must have reversed everything in a hurry. Holmes ran to the bell-pulling rope, tore off the small black sliding shutter, put his hand in it and pulled out a photograph and a letter from there. Irene Adler was wearing an evening dress in the photograph, the letter read - Mr Sherlock Holmes. My friend tore it up and the three of us read it together. It was written at midnight the previous day and it was written in it.
"My dear Mr Sherlock Holmes, your effort was very good. I believed it to be true. I never doubted it until the fire alarm rang. Then I understood how I had cheated and I thought Started. I had received a warning about you two months ago. I was told that if Raja hired an agent, he would definitely be you. I was given your address as well. Still, you told me that Got to know what you knew. Despite the doubt, I could not think of anything wrong about an old father. But, do you know, I have trained to become an actress? Wearing men's clothes is not new to me.
Often I take advantage of it by wearing it, it gives me freedom. I sent my coachman, John, after you. As soon as he ran up to me, I quickly dressed the man's clothes, which I call walking clothes and I came down as soon as you left. Then I followed you to your door so that I can be sure that the famous Mr Sherlock Holmes is interested in me. Then, I could not stop myself from calling you good night and I went to the temple to meet my husband.
"We both thought it would be best to take a flight when such a person is stalking everyone who is afraid. When you come tomorrow, the house will be empty. As far as the photograph is concerned, your clients can live in peace. I love whom I do and who loves me, he is a better person than him. The king can do whatever he wants to do, what he did wrong will never stop his way. I keep the photograph just to protect myself. If the king takes any step against me in the future, this will be my weapon to protect myself. I am leaving the photograph that the king might want to keep and, I will always be the same, dear Mr Sherlock Holmes.
"Very truly yours,
"IRENE NORTON, née ADLER"
When the three of us read this letter, the king shouted - "What a woman, what a woman!" I said neither was she very fast and she does what she says? Doesn't she become a good queen? Isn't it sad that she was not at my level?
"Everything I've seen of this woman is really different from your level, your Majesty," Holmes said coldly. "I am sorry your Majesty, I have not been able to bring your work to better results."
"My dear sir, the opposite is true," said the king. "Nothing could be more than this. I know his promise is true. Now that photograph is as safe for me as if it was burnt in the fire."
"I'm glad you're saying that, your Majesty."
"I will be thankful to you forever. Please tell me how do I reward you? This ring _" He took out the emerald snake ring from his finger and put it in Holmes's hand.
"Your Majesty has something more valuable to me," said Holmes.
"You just tell her the name."
"This photograph!"
The king looked at Holmes with great surprise and said, "Take a photograph of Irene! Surely take it if you want to."
"Thank you, your Majesty. Now, there is nothing left to do in this matter. It is an honour for me to wish you good morning." Holmes bowed and the king extended his hand towards Holmes, without looking at it, Holmes turned back. He came with me to his chamber.
And this was the scandal that was scaring the kingdom of Bohemia, and how Mr Sherlock Holmes's best plan was also lost to the wisdom of a woman. He used to laugh at the ingenuity of women, but after this incident, I did not see him doing that and, whenever he talks about Irene Adler or about her photograph, he always respectfully tells her, 'The Woman 'Says.

All the Way to India
I have had an interest in sports since childhood. During school time, I always used to wait for recess and physical training, but I did not like much of the subjects. So my grades were not good. My friend Anchal used to help me in my studies, despite this my score was always less than the average. Once upon a time, I was battling with my friends, then accidentally shot a man who was going by scooter. The ball hit him very hard. The man fell down from the scooter and immediately got up and ran after us.
I remember this thing to this day. My father had my admission to Yadavindra Public School. At that time, Navjot Singh Sidhu, a famous batsman of India, used to practice in Maharani Club. One day my father took me to him and asked Sidhu whether he would see my batting. After my batting, Sidhu said to my father, "This boy is not made for cricket" but my father was also not one of those who gave up. They had thought that they would get me a place in the national team. He has never been discharged, nor has I let him be.
One morning my father told me to practice. It was very cold that day. I lay in bed. I was making excuses that I did not listen to his voice. After a while, my father came to my room and poured a bucket of cold water on my head. I got very angry with him that day.
But the day I performed well, I used to think that my father has only one dream to see me becoming a great cricketer. I also felt that cricket is the only thing that can give me freedom. Relations between my parents were not good. My younger brother Zoravar is 8 years younger than me. In order to avoid whatever problem was there between my parents, I had focused all my attention on cricket. But my younger brother Zoravar was crushing between the parents' quarrels. My mother had never even tried to solve the problems of her married life.
This used to bother me a lot because my mother is the support system for me. My father was very strict about cricket from the beginning. Till my entire teenage years, he kept me in strict discipline. Once when I was out at 39 while playing a Ranji practice match, my father got very angry. He told me on the phone 'Don't come home now or else I will kill you with my life. And I had to sleep in my car parked outside the house all night.
The next morning when I came inside the house, my father hit me with a glass of milk on my face. Once again, due to a fracture in the back, I had mistaken in fielding. That night when I reached home, I saw the father breaking the sound system of my car. Hearing the negative comments of my seniors from above, it became difficult for me to live. I scored 100 in the final Ranji Trophy. My father called me and asked, "how was the match"?
"I made a century", I said proudly. On this, my father said, "Why didn't you make 200 runs?" I was dissolved by his words. Then the father called me again and said that he hid my car keys somewhere. After this, I went to play the Under 19 World Cup. I was selected Player of the Tournament. And that's how I entered the Indian National Team. In my first match, I scored a score of 84 and became the man of the match. With my first paycheck, I bought a house for my mother.

The Top-of-the-World Cup:

The 2011 World Cup was nothing short of an epic adventure for us. We were playing against England. In 2010, there was a strain in my neck due to which there was a big pen, the pain was so much that I could not even see my head. MRI had a disc bulge. Our team physiotherapist Nitin Patel was called to fix my neck but to no avail.
My turn was at number 4. I had played two balls that suddenly felt a blow to the neck, after that, it became amazing, I started playing Dhundhar and made very good scores. I was quite an inspiration from Sachin Tendulkar, it was a great achievement for me that we were teammates. Before playing the World Cup, Sachin told me that I should play a tournament for someone whom I give respect to or love. Sachin always motored me and my teammates.
Once our team was having dinner in Mexico, a fan came to Ravindra Jadeja and started shouting at him. He was shouting 'How did you get out so soon?' And was giving dirty profanity. The matter went awry and even came in the news. We were labelled as being overpaid and irresponsible. I was dropped from the team after this incident. But then in July, I was selected to play against Sri Lanka. Before the World Cup, I selected two bats. In one, I wrote World Cup No. 1 and in the other World Cup No. 2.
In the match that was against South Africa, I played with the number 1 bat. While going to Dhaka, I could not find my bat number 2. But I did not know that my mother had bought someone with that bat Chandigarh. Mother took the bat to get blessings from Baba Ji, there was a huge crowd in Sangat. When Babaji saw the bat, he immediately said, "This is the bat of Yuvi". He recognized my bat. It was the same bat with which I played in the World Cup. Babaji told everyone that he should bless this bat. My mother had reached Bangalore before the match started. He gave me back my bat number 2. In the World Cup, I scored a total of 352 runs, with four fours and a century.

C 'Change Form Cricket to Cancer:

The one I trust the most in the health business is Jatin Chaudhary. She is a physiotherapist and acupuncture specialist. I met him for the first time in 2006 when I was hurt once near my left knee. Then in 2008, when I received a shoulder injury, my trust in him increased further. When I came to know about my tumour for the first time, at that time also gave more importance to Jatin's therapy and opinion. Due to my cough, Doctor Kohli asked me to get an x-ray done. When I was leaving, Jatin stopped me and asked me to check the X-ray plates.
There was a wrinkle on the doctor's forehead and Jatin was feeling quite tense. A white blur was clearly visible in the X-ray. The doctor told me to get an FNAC test done. The next day I got my CT scan done. Later, Dr Kohli called me, he told me, "There is bad news for you". I had a tumour in my lung. Dr Kohli also said that this tumour can be the beginning of cancer. My wax had gone to the gurudwara at that time. Jatin gave this news by calling him. When mother came back and we saw each other, she started crying on seeing me. I also shared this news with my close friends. Doctor Parameswaran immediately told me to get admitted to the hospital.
Anything I eat or drink, my body would be rejected. I used to get upside down immediately after eating a few. Meanwhile, the Puma brand asked me for shooting dates. This was an endorsement deal that I was going to do with Bolt, Alonso and Aguero. I had already signed this deal. Usain Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter. Fernando Alonso is a Spanish race car driver and Sergio Aguero is an Argentine footballer. I gave dates of Puma to January 2012 when I could be free.
But when I came to know about my cancer, I informed Puma about it. But he did not take this deal back from me, rather he said that he will wait for my recovery. But I had to complete my promise. So I went to shoot. We had to run on a treadmill there. Alonso gave me an autograph on my cap. Wearing this cap, I used to see him racing. But I could not get a chance to meet Bolt. He had left after shooting his part. I knew that Bolt is a fan of cricket, I would be very happy to meet him if I had found him.
After collaborating with and working with these World Famous Athletes, for some time I forgot that I have a Lung Tumor. But whenever I had a cough, blood came out of my mouth. As an athlete, I was taught to tolerate pain. I remember Anil Kumble, the great Indian cricketer who played a match against the West Indies with a broken jaw.

The Test of My Life:

I went to London and met Doctor Harper. They told me that I would have to go through four cycles of chemotherapy. He also said that my hair will grow out of chemotherapy but will grow back later. Then due to a last-minute plan change, I came to Indianapolis. Here Dr Einhorn was going to treat me. He was the same doctor who had previously treated Lens Armstrong. Lance is an American racing cyclist who had cancer.
I told Doctor Harper about my plan change and apologized. So Dr Harper said that I will get the same treatment in London. But he also said that if his son had cancer, he would have sent him to doctor Ehorn as well. Doctor Ehorn is a well-known expert. He told me that after three chemotherapy cycles in two months, I will be fine as if I had never had cancer. I asked him whether I would be able to become a father after chemotherapy. So he told that chemotherapy reduces the fertility rate by up to 60% but now it is only 10% less. That means my hope of becoming a father was still left.

I read Lance Armstrong's book "It's Not About the Bike". When I read it the first time, I thought it would be quite depressing. But when read again, it was found that Armstrong went to the sperm bank where he had his sperm preserved. They later had three children. That too when Lance had testicular cancer. On the days when I was getting chemotherapy, I did not feel hungry nor sleepy. I used to keep making my videos. I had also made a diary.
So far, through media in India, everyone had found out about this disease, later it came to light that two people on whom I had a lot of trusts, had spread the news about me in the media. One of them was an Indian journalist who used my blackberry updates to deliver the news. The second was Jatin Chaudhary. He went to a news channel and told me everything about me. As soon as the news of my cancer spread, I started getting many calls from fans, ranging from children to film actors. Then I thought I would inform everyone through Twitter officially.
During my sick days, I used to play video games or surf the net. My mother would buy groceries and cook for herself. Some 15 days after taking chemotherapy, one day when I woke up, I saw a bunch of hairs on my bed. My hair was falling out, immediately I decided that I would go bald and I shaved my head. I took a pick of mine and posted it on Twitter.
My manager Nishant told me that Anil Kumble is in Boston and wants to meet me. I thought he might not be able to come but Anil came to see me. He forbade me to watch his old cricket videos on YouTube. And also said that one day cricket will definitely come back in my life. Anil gave me the courage and said that at this time I should first focus on my recovery.
At the time of the thread cycle, Dr Einhorn told me that there would be no chemotherapy that day. After seeing my results, he told me that the tumour has gone away, only some remaining tissue is left. Doctor Ehorn decided to change the drug schedule. The last cycle was now five days later. Hearing this news, suddenly I felt like now I can sing, laugh and do whatever I want!

Taking Guard Again:

The person who first came to meet me after my treatment was Sachin Tendulkar. He hugged me tightly and encouraged me. Dr Einhorn told me that I will have to stay in hospital for 10 more days for recovery. At that time my condition was such that I was not able to stand up properly, I used to think of dying again and again. Soon I returned to India. I reached my home in Gurgaon.
I saw a man there who shook hands with me. I told him "Sorry, I did not recognize you. He was my lawyer In fact, after chemotherapy, I had lost short term memory loss, which often happens in cancer patients. When I had a flight, JetAirways crew members took great care of me. Everyone was surprised to see me, but they continued to behave in a professional way. In the midst of his duty, those people made a card for me. Everyone looked at him. The card read "Welcome Home Yuvi, Get Well Soon".
One such time when I went to the mall, I went inside an Indian cafe there. People had recognized me, all came to me and were giving the best wishes. Even those I did not know, those people were giving me food packets which they had ordered for me, this reaction of people made me very emotional. On coming home, I told my mother about the Indian Cafe. She smiled and said that she knows that people support her.
When I saw my Badar Zorawar, I felt that a big tension has gone away. He had learned to live without his mother and me for so many days. I also went to Chandigarh to meet my Guruji. Wherever I went, everyone gave me lots of love and blessings. Before going back to Sirius training again, I went on a 10-day vacation with my friends. We used to go to Spain, we used to enjoy long drives, pool parties and diners. Coming back to India, I notice that my weight has increased. I already had 103 KG. The time had come that I should start training and come back to the field.

The Battle for Confidence:

One day when I went to the roof of my house, I was surprised to see a peacock there. There is a lot of beliefs about Peacock like some people say that coming to the house is auspicious, then some people call it bad luck. I gave a voice to my mother that comes soon, the peacock has come on the roof. But below that, I heard his voice saying "Selection, Selection". My mother had received news that I have been selected in the Indian team for the World T20. But those days my endurance level was low and my cardio-vascular strength was also almost zero.
The team trainers helped me a lot to get back fit. They told me that I should forget that I had ever been cancerous. Those people were treating me like a regular player who has not worked out for 6 months. The training was going so hard that many times I was forced to question myself whether I would ever be able to return to international cricket. BCCI or Board of Control for Cricket in India took great care of me. He had full attention to my privacy and was paying all my expenses, checking my progress and gave me every opportunity to get into the field.
During training, I used to fear that the ball might hit me or I might get hurt. Initially, we practised with a tennis ball and then later with a cricket ball. I have been selected in T20, this news was completely viral. The comments of the people who came were supposed to be emotional. My three months of practice and hard work came in. However, I did not like that my selection was being viewed as a favour to me. I had to go to Visakhapatnam for my first match. Everyone who saw me there, from my teammates to the driver of the bus and the children on the road, came to shake hands with me.
Ravi Shastri wanted to do a live interview with me. I saw banners in there which said "Good-by Cancer, Welcome Sixer" When I reached the stadium, Crowd stood up and cheered for me and played applause. It was raining a lot that day the field was flooded, we had to postpone the match. When I was very disappointed, my family and friends reached out to encourage me so that I could play well. One night before this, I wrote a letter to Dr Einhorn and said that I am very thankful to him for saving my life.
Now the match was to be rescheduled after four days. We won the toss against New Zealand and decided to field first. New Zealand's score was quite good due to having Braden McCullum on the team. We lost this match by one run. But I bowled for two hours for 14 and scored 32 runs in 24 balls with Chokke and two sixes. We won by one run against Pakistan. But we were knocked out in the tournament. I was the "Player of the Match" in this match. After cancer, a lot had changed in my life.
Earlier all my focus was only on games, I had never taken my health seriously. I thought I'd start a cancer charity, and I started a foundation called UVCan. After retiring from cricket, I want to work full time for UV. Through this charitable trust, I will raise funds for the help of cancer patients and I will create awareness about this disease. I am thankful to my friends, family and cricket for what I have achieved in my life. If I ever fail again, I know that I can stand up like a true fighter again and fight with full force.
